Mount Sinai and CarbonCLAIR collaborated to put in $35k to launch a pilot program, we will deploy CarbonCLAIR's air purification technology and low-cost air sensors to monitor air quality to 27 households during the construction of the $480m LEED-certified Jamaica Bus Depot. The data collected will assess the impact on the local community and inform policy recommendations. Collaborating with Mount Sinai, we aim to engage and empower the community in Jamaica, Queens, improving their health and quality of life. Notably, The Mount Sinai Hospital was ranked by Newsweek/Statista as No. 20 in the world, No. 8 nationally, No. 1 in New York State, and No. 1 in New York City on its The World’s Best Hospitals 2024 list, with a worth of approximately $10.2 billion.
